Time to Blog

I've had this blog since last year but I never once wrote on it.  I'm not a  blogger (yet).  I don't read them, follow them, or even know anything about them.  A lot of my friends have blogs so I have decided to activate my own and keep up with what is going on with them in the process.  So here we go...

The latest big thing that is going on in my life is Zeke's health.  He had to go to the emergency room a few weeks ago and I truly believe that happened so we could find out about another issue that is going on.  The doctors discovered that his platelet levels are in the millions.  I didn't even know what this meant so I had to Google it.  Actually I had to Google about every 4th word they said!  Anyway, he has been doing lab work for the past few weeks and the platelets aren't coming down.  The doctors don't even know what is causing them to be high, which is concerning to me and his dad.  We will be going in next Friday, the 13th, for a consultation to answer all of our questions and for more lab work.  At that time they will let us know when they will be doing a bone marrow.  I'm terrified about that.  I have tried to stay strong by simply keeping my mind off of it.  We are so blessed with many wonderful friends and family who are all praying for us.  You will never know how much that means to me and my family.  I will use this blog as an update to Zeke's health.  In the meantime we shall talk about happy things!  :)
