Sad day for Zekey

Today was a hard day for my ZekeyPants.  He has had a pretty great year in school so far this year.  He loves his class, his teacher(s), and even his bus driver.  The past couple of weeks Zeke has been very concerned about his bus driver, Mr. Tim, not driving his bus.  I asked him one day after school if he had been minding Mr. Tim and he told me that Mr. Tim wasn't his driver anymore.  I wasn't really sure what Zeke was talking about.  A few days later I asked him the same question again and he reminded me about him not being his driver anymore and how much he missed him.  He said Mr. Tim would like to pretend with all of the kids on the bus that they were going on an exciting adventure or field trip when they were driving to school.  He would always play around with the kids and have fun with them and Zeke just loved it.  Well today I found out that Mr. Tim passed away.  He became ill with the flu and was not able to recover.  I was extremely saddened by this news knowing how wonderful of a man he was and how much Zeke adored him.  I notified my parents who were equally as sad.  We had to break the news tonight to Zeke.  He is sad and even prayed before he fell asleep for God to heal him in heaven.  :(
